But then I've been ready for awhile. It is great seeing what others are doing once they figure out what they want. One lady I know started a cooking school in her home for kids. It was a raving success so she took the same idea to Ronald MacDonald House at Stanford and started doing the same with kids who were undergoing chemotherapy and ongoing surgeries. She said that during the time they were cooking, the disease took a back seat and they all had fun together. There are so many things we could do, what sounds good to you?

May I suggest for those wanting to go back to work, but in this economy may have to wait it out, yet you'd like the extra money.

I am currently hosting foreign students going to Foothill and DeAnza College and have done so for over 15 years. They will pay you $800/month for room and board, breakfast (anything from toast to cereal) and dinner prepared by you 4 nights week(the weekends students can prepare it). You provide them with a private room, bathroom (okay to share) and live within 5 to 7 miles of school near a bus line so they can walk or catch a bus to school.

Please let me know you are interested in hosting.
